We have recently sourced and successfully tested a motor and variable speed controller suitable for use on wood lathe motors, more especially for the Teknatool and 1 hp model. (Although this unit can be fitted up to most current and older model lathes)
The system works on normal 230v household supply.
We think this may be of interest to the serious wood turning fraternity as it is a real time saver for those turners who are more than part timers!
